On Sunday afternoon, the Premier League officially unveiled the new ball that will be used for all matches in the highest tier of English football in the coming season. In-depth research and testing by Nike has led to the development of the ‘most consistent ball ever’ (as Nike reported) and one which will ‘provide countless spectacular moments in the new season’. It is called the Nike Total 90 Omni Ball and it sets new standards for visibility, accuracy and consistency.
