Rumours persist this morning that Spurs Vice Captain may have asked for a transfer to Liverpool after the Anfield club apparently declared their interest in the player. Other sources have rubbished this rumour and Keane himself has on a number of occasions declared his love for Spurs....not that that means anything at all any more. Although I am not Keane's biggest fan, I still feel it would be a blow to lose him to one of our rivals for a top 4 place especially if we get Crouch in return! Reports suggest that Daniel Levy, who has so far excelled himself in the transfer department this summer, may be asking for at least £20m for Keane and if this were to be the case I would see this as acceptable but still I don't want Peter Crouch wearing the lillywhite as this would be 10 massive steps back in my opinion.
