Danny Rose to be given bumper new Spurs deal

Despite experiencing a disappointing Euro's with England, Danny Rose's summer might just be about to get a whole lot better.

Having produced some assured, dominant performances during the past few seasons, Rose has transformed his game from a frustration to most Spurs fans to one of the first names on Pochettino's team sheet.

So impressive has been the former Leeds United academy graduates form that he is set to be offered a bumper new deal by the club.

Having joined Spurs in 2007, Rose is now our longest serving player. despite this it seems that his earnings are relatively low for an England International who is now spoken about as being the best left back in the Premier League.

The Mirror report that Rose is currently earning £35,000 per week - an eye watering sum for most of us, but a wage that is surely lower than that taken home by similar players at rival clubs.

Baring in mind Daniel Levy's reputation whilst at the negotiation table, let's hope Rose's agent is prepared for a protracted set of discussions.
