Spurs are looking for their first win in the competition this season after falling short against Monaco at Wembley.
But it won't be easy as Mauricio Pochettino's side will be without star striker Harry Kane who is nursing an ankle injury.
Tottenham will also be missing Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele who are dealing with hamstring injuries as well as Moussa Sissoko who suffered a concussion against Middlesbrough.
After 20 minutes of their Group E opener against Bayer Leverkusen, CSKA Moscow looked well on the way to a good, old-fashioned thrashing. But CSKA mounted a stirring comeback, responding through Alan Dzagoev and drawing level when Roman Eremenko found the net.
