Things we learned from Spurs 3-1 CSKA Moscow

Article by Lovepreet Deol

Spurs have ended their Wembley troubles. We had not won a game there since 2008 and finally that unwanted record has ended. Tottenham were dominant from the start, even if CSKA Moscow were woeful from the start. At the end of the day, Europa League isn't the competition we want to be rubbing our shoulders with Europe's elite, but it will do. We are Tottenham, and if we are not in Europe, we are nothing.

Eriksen is BACK - After Eriksen was dropped for the West Ham game, he has come back a different player. Ever since the goal he scored against Chelsea, he has not looked back, he has been very very good. Today was one of his best performances in a Spurs shots. A good free kick, some good passes, some great through balls, all round fantastic display, the Dane is back.

Toby Alderweireld is BACK - What a reception, just shows how much we love this man. It's crazy how we can have so much affection to a man who we will probably never ever meet in our life. He will bring back the stability in our defence, even though, credit to Eric Dier, it has been solid.
