I have been a Spurs fan since 2010, captivated by the mesmerising performances of Gareth Bale in the Champions League, a player who I still have a spot in my heart for. My early years as a Spurs supporter saw me constantly playing as Spurs on FIFA 11 – it was that team that made me become a Spurs follower: the rock solid Ledley King and Michael Dawson in defence, a classy midfield of Luka Modric, Rafa van der Vaart and Gareth Bale, and a potent attack of Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Peter Crouch.
Now my love for Spurs has developed beyond just FIFA – I am a One Hotspur member and have been writing about the club for about 2 years now. I made my White Hart Lane debut in April after finally persuading my Dad to accompany me down to London, witnessing the 1-1 draw with West Brom in the fourth row of the North Stand, a seat that has now been wiped out of White Hart Lane as we begin the process of moving into the new stadium. My Dad has also been drawn in and now passionately follows Spurs thanks to my efforts.
I have just completed my GCSEs and am looking forward to studying for my A Levels in the next two years before, hopefully, having a career in sports journalism.
