Goodbye Robbie Keane

So this morning it looks likely that ol' pointy finger is off to the bright lights and sunshine to join up with David Beckham at LA Galaxy in a deal believed to be worth between £5-10m. This still represents a huge loss for Spurs but should the deal go ahead it would free up important funds including wages with Keane currently the joint top earner at the club. Keano who has scored 123 goals for us in 306 appearances became only the 15th players wearing the famous lillywhite shirt to pass the 100 goal mark and currently sits at ninth in out all time goalscorers list. Good Luck Keano!

I'm grateful for everything Keane did for Spurs but will not miss him. He could've become a genuine Tottenham legend until the day he decided he wanted to join his 'boyhood' club and left to sign for the scousers! He came back a completely different player and lost pretty much all of the respect he'd earned originally! I wish him nothing but good but will always think of him with a touch of disappointment as well. Good luck Robbie and thank you!

    Thanks Robbie

    You have served us well.

Ive no problem about you leaving for Liverpool, more money and better opportunities, who wouldnt want that in life.
Im bored of fans saying otherwise, footballers are employees not fans its funny how we all want to sign players who would have to jump ship to come here but if they jump ship on us its different???

Shame you came back half the player though..

    Good luck
