Another defender still being strongly connected is Ajax Captain Jan Vertonghen. Most sources and media are now reporting that Daniel Levy is over in Holland and there is now only a small difference between the parties in the asking price.
It has also been suggested that Levy may have met with the agent of Leandro Damiao, the Brazilian striker we have been following for over a year to discuss what terms the player would be willing to accept should he move to White Hart Lane.
More as it comes in........

ReplyDeleteWe Neeeeed to keep Adeybayor!
ReplyDeleteIthink Vertonghen could be our defensive rock for years to come and become a spurs ledgend
ReplyDeleteHearing Vertonghen done....watch this space.
ReplyDeleteIf we keep him we cant afford anyone else.. simple as that we cannot afford him.

DeleteI think we should keep Gio , Give him a fair chance. If HR is such a good motivator,he will get this boy back to the form we saw in world cup SA.Let Defoe go, he is selfish and is not a team player . How many assist did he have this year. Ade had 4 in 0ne game and scored.raise some funds with Defoe,Kranjcar,Bentley,Corluka,Jenas,Bassong,Gomes & Gallas. MUST HAVE VERTONGHEN & DAMIAO
ReplyDeleteJamaal Lascelles is another name i am hearing
ReplyDeleteThe deal for vertonghen seems to be taking too long, levy went out there Monday???? Maybe he's trying to get others from ajaxs too???
ReplyDeletefrankie warrior;
ReplyDeleteI cant understand why the deals for leandro damaio jan vertonghen and loic remy have not been settled one way or another we've been talking with these players for at least a week , we need to stop haggling and realise we need these players give them what they want and sign them up if we are serious about wanting to play for the european league cup next year.
FFA they need to just get on with it and sign these players before others do and we start to hear the we nearly signed rubbish again
