Reports this morning suggest that Spurs legend Ossie Ardiles has been involved in a car accident on The Falklands. Reports are still sketchy but it is thought that Aridles was airlifted to hospital from the scene.Fellow Spurs great Ricky Villa may have also been in the car but as yet that is unconfirmed.
There are a handful of players in the history of our great club who can truly be described as Spurs legends. Bill Nick, Gazza, Blanchflower, Hoddle and Ossie has a place amongst this elite group. We wish him well and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
