Levy must now allow Poch to do his job

Well we finally have a focal point in the "Pochman". On a personal level a sensible choice. I for one was hedging my bets on de Boer, but as mentioned Pochman is more than suitable. Two major points in his appointment stand out in his appointment over FDB - EPL experience and the key that will hopefully unlock the latent talents of Lamela.

Being an Argentine himself gives me the impression that Levy wants Lamela to succeed considering the Euros spent getting him to the Lane. Being like for like the language issue should no longer be a problem. The mystery injuries will disappear and if Lamela stays you would classify him as a new recruit.

One positive is that the trouble makers at Tottenham will be shown the door, the Naughton's, Holtby's and the bloke who attempted to play left back will either improve out of sight or go. Pochman will carry little to no baggage as AVB and Timmy boy did in the past. He will come in with a clear mandate and true vision.

One thing I pray for is we supporters leave him to complete his masterpiece, do not get hung up on CL qualification, let him stamp his authority on the club and players and above all else for Levy to now go away, play with his millions and let this man achieve what most people seem to think he can. FDB would have been a good alternative, but experience shows you need a manager who understands the ethos of playing in the RPM, and I'd say that was the only stumbling point in him not getting the nod.

Anyway we now have focus, let's hope Lloris and crew don't jump ship, give this guy a year to establish his philosophies and style, and who knows the CL might, just might happen. Personally all I want is to see a jointed effort on and off the park, a desire not just to entertain but to really love the jumper....

I for one hope poch gets the best out of the players and levy stays out of his way. Holtby is a class player and like you said just needs the right manager to manage the players. As for champions lg I think poch should be aiming high with the class squad we have and if he don't get it this year fine lets just say new manager new start aim high as a spurs fan is where we should be .
