THFC Going into 2015

The end of the year is nigh. Another year has zoomed by and yet again Spurs fans leave the calender year amongst uncertainty and pain, with the odd scatter of hope chucked in for good measure.

This year has, quite simply, been a mess. Starting off with Tim "nice but honest" Sherwood who was doomed before he even took the job with Mr Levy's axe hanging just inches away from his hair.

He was honest. Perhaps too honest. While alot of what he said I disagree with there was on phrase he said that has stuck with me and is very much still current in the Spurs team. "Much of a muchness" "too many of them too nice to each other". Until the Everton game on Sunday this was certainly the case.

Alot of players, all similar quality, interchanging in the starting 11 every week without making much impact. And they are too nice to each other there was no aggression, no passion but the Everton game changed this and I hope it sticks!

The change of manager hasn't really changed things. His signings have been questionable. Vorm is a cracking number 2 but how long will he be happy with this. Dier looks a prospect but is a centre back; would love to see him there! Stambouli I can guarantee wont be a spurs player this time next year; another Holtby. Fazio is getting better but I dont trust him and Davies looks a decent squad player but no world beater.

As the year draws to a close i have optimism. The players know what is needed from them. Poch has made the undroppables droppable lately with Kaboul, Adebayor and Capoue miles away from the team where they should be and I am hoping 2015 can be a year to remember. onwards and upwards.
