Good News on Greavsie

Former England striker Jimmy Greaves has left hospital as he continues to recover from a severe stroke in May.

The 75-year-old's condition has "improved considerably" but "there is still a very long way to go", according to his friend and agent Terry Baker.

Greaves, who was admitted to intensive care on 3 May, has been moved to a rehabilitation unit.

He scored 44 goals for England and netted a club-record 220 league goals for Tottenham between 1961 and 1970.He missed out on the World Cup Final against Germany after picking up an earlier injury - and was only awarded a winners medal many years later.
