Kane can be as good as Ronny

Jurgen Klinsmann has described Harry Kane as having the potential to be as good as serial poser Christiano Ronaldo. Kane has gone from strength to strength since bursting onto the scene during the 2014/15 term.

His meteoric rise was encapsulated last month when he claimed the Golden Boot ahead of Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy.

In his last two seasons, the 22-year-old has scored a remarkable 46 goals in the Premier League and firmly established himself as England’s number one striker.

Once again it appears that our desperate Dan has broken out in a sweat after having already agreed terms with the player in question. Various outlets now report that Marseille are asking for £31m for their star striker.

Although the reported fee is very clearly excessive, sometimes it is necessary to make a statement of your ambition as a club and speculate to accumulate. One wonders how many of these deals are actually fed to the media by club 'sources' rather than being something that is as close to happening as it appears.

Lloris convinced to sign extension - The Mirror

Hugo Lloris has given Tottenham a massive boost ahead of the European Championships by reportedly declaring his intent to stay at White Hart Lane.

The Mirror report that the 29-year-old goalkeeper will agree a contract extension at Spurs after his tour of duty with France in the tournament.

He spoke with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy before he joined up with the French squad and it was made clear the club want to give him a contract extension.

Tottenham pushing hard for Franco Vazquez - Football Italia

The half-Argentinean half-Italian forward is ready to move on from Sicily and follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Paulo Dybala at a big club write Football Italia.

Napoli, Juventus, Fiorentina, Milan and Roma have all been linked, but baulked at the €25m price-tag.

27-year-old Vazquez has scored eight Serie A goals and provided six assists.
