The biggest news of the day is the club announcing the financial results for the 6 months up to 31st December 09. The main points are:
- Revenue £54m with no European football
- 14% increase in merchandising income
- Media and broadcasting revenues £18.6m
- Gate receipts £10.6m compared to £10.4m in 2008
- Sponsorship and corporate hospitality income fell be 11% mainly due to having no European football
- Profits from player trading £9.4m
- Shirt Sponsorship due for renewal for the 2010/2011 season

Bassong, Palacios, Pav and Walker are all fighting to be fit for the massive game on Saturday against Portsmouth. Pavlyuchenko performed heroics by playing at all on Wednesday night and Gudjohnsons recent performances have at least given us other options up-front. Wilson not only has that abductor tear but the yellow card issue still hanging over him like a dark cloud and a 2 match ban that comes with it.
Corluka, King, Lennon, Defoe, Jenas are all definitely out of the game and fingers will be crossed that they make it back for our all important month of April! Don't forget to join the match chat in the e-Spurs forum!

Finally, Spurs have today confirmed that the formalities have been completed on the deal and Sandro is now officially a Spur come the summer. Really refreshing to see that this one has been tied up and not become another of those that got away! Credit to Levy for putting in the work for what appears to have been a rather complicated deal to say the least!
