Y oh Y oh Y

Article by Bruce Wright

So now the FA have decided to clamp down on 'offensive' terms such as the 'Yid' word that has been long associated to Spurs fans. I am so glad that the FA recognise such negativity in our game and are quick to stamp it out. Now, before you all think I have lost it, I will put this back into context and ask the FA 'Y' they have decided to bring this up now when they have the following issues to deal within our game today?

Y are ticket prices so high compared to other leagues across Europe?
Y is our national team in such a state of decline with a clear lack of talent coming through?
Y do they sit back and allow open tapping up of players in their league and do NOTHING about it?
Y do they waste time and money on meaningless staff to attend England games to ensure that there isn't any hooliganism - yes I know about this one...... and yes Barry you are definitely one of them!
Y do they allow agents to suck so much money out of our game instead of making sure it gets put back into grass roots?
Y have they allowed the Premier League to run our game at the expense of our home grown players? - I know this hits home too!
Y dont they introduce a rule to encourage English talent to be part of all squads?
Y do you allow our games to be switched to ridiculous times by the TV companies without ANY consideration to fans?
Y has our national treasure, the FA cup, been allowed to be devalued by playing semi finals at Wembley and changing KO times to 5.30?
Y are the fans at the bottom of the pile when it comes to respect?

I could go on and on, however these are just some of the more important things about our game that I find offensive! Perhaps if they actually considered who they are, who they represent and what they should be doing about sorting our game out then we may get some of these really offensive issues sorted out.

Never has an organisation so been aptly abbreviated to FA, because that is what they do!

the biggest question thay have to answer is why they did nothing with regard to the west ham fans on film using the term , and worse, in a manner clearly intended to be offensive and then take issue with the use by spurs fans
truth is it is cowardly at best and frankly quite offensive at worst teacher joins up with class bully against the kid who is an outsider because he does not have the courgae to deal with the bully, or is actualy a bully himself

you are so right , I am jewish and do not take offence in any way that the YID word is chanted at home games, the FA should take action against West ham and Chelsea using racist chants and gassing noises which are far more offensive.
