I have a hunch AVB, being so unenterprising, conservative, will only field Townsend – leaving Lamela on the bench. To bring him on in the 66th minute!!
ReplyDeleteI don’t get how he could be content with the formation so far – a team not capable of scoring in open play.
I’ve seen lots of comments where many would like to have Lamela, Eriksen as well as Townsend(why not, if he doesn’t shoot on sight, and plays as a teamplayer) behind Soldado. As well as Holtby alongside Paul.
But, the manager is so afraid to lose, his focus is mostly on not conceding.
