It was announced this evening by the English FA that Tottenham Hotspur duo Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend have been called into the England squad for the forthcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Estonia or Lithuania.

Everton defender John Stones is also out of the squad leaving England short of defensive options.

Walker announced himself on the international scene with his performances in England’s final two qualifiers before the 2014 World Cup. The pressure is off ahead of the final qualifiers for next summer’s tournament in France.
