Fans are asked to arrive early, avoid bringing bags, and be extra vigilant. There are expected to be dog teams and frequent bag searches throughout the stadium.
On the pitch, Tottenham are currently placed fifth, and West Ham sixth, with both clubs on 21 points and aiming for the full three this time around.
It has to be said that on the back of the international break Spurs come into the match looking the stronger of the two sides.
Tottenham had no less that 14 players featuring for their countries during the break, all many involved in the goals, including a screamer from Delle Alli, two goals from Son Heung-Min and a timely equaliser from Jan Vertonghen.
Having said that, points have been split evenly between the two clubs in the last five meetings.
However the Hammers' top goal scorer (Payet) is ruled out of the match with an ankle injury.
Spurs will be looking for their sixth league win of the season, having not lost since the opening day against Manchester United.
The lilywhites should be going into the game with a positive attitude and it appears that Pochettino's philosophy is starting to take effect as the young team really looks like it's building on last year.
Credit, where credit is due, as Hodgson recreated the heart of Tottenham's midfield - Dier and Alli - in the England game against France on Tuesday night.
Those two are expected to start against West Ham this weekend, with the likely trio of Eriksen, Dembele and Son to take on the attacking duties ahead of them.
No doubt Kane will lead the attacking line as he rediscovers his goal scoring form from last season.
Pochettino has rarely altered the back line, so we can expect to see Lloris protected by Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Rose.
One factor that the manager may consider is the midweek trip to Azerbaijan to take on Qarabag FK in the Europa League.
So the return of Nabil Bentaleb will be a welcome addition. The midfielder returns after being stuck on the sidelines for three months with ligament damage.
The match against West Ham will be available to watch on Sky Sports 1.

Lamela is suspended and Bentalab is injured
ReplyDeleteYep.. with Lamela out I would expect Song to get a start.
ReplyDeleteSupposedly Bentaleb's substitution for Algeria was precautionary so he may be on the bench.
